Restricted Purposes, Security and Billing
When you use any of Quota Inc’s Services, you acknowledge that you may not:
Collect or extract information and/or data from accounts which do not belong to you or you have not been given express permission to access.
Share information and/or data from accounts which do not belong to you or you have not been given express permission to share.
Invite users to view information and/or data from accounts which do not belong to you or you have not been given express permission to access.
Trick, defraud, or mislead users into believing that the information and/or data they have access to is their information and/or data if it is not.
Present the information and/or data being accessed by users as being infallible - for example encouraging a user to make decisions entirely based on the information and/or data shown without personally checking the validity of the information and/or data first and informing them of the possibility of inaccuracy, automated error, human error and third-party error.
Present the information and/or data in a way whereby Quota Inc is liable for the outcome of any decision made by a user or third-party using the Services.
Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users, including but not limited to making false reports or impersonating another user.
Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Services.
Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of third-party connected services (such as Cloud Accounting applications) which would undermine the security-related features of the Services.
Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) viruses or any type of malware, or information collection mechanism, including 1×1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, or other similar devices.
Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Services or the networks or the Services connected.
Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten others, or any of our employees engaged in providing any portion of the Services to you.
Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the Services.
Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable tax laws or regulations.
Use the Services in a fraudulent manner to gain access to financial products or services.
Accounts found to be in violation of any of the above are subject to cancellation without prior notice.
How to report abuse
Violations can be reported by emailing support@getquota.co and should include detailed information about the account, the content or behavior you are reporting, and how you found it, including URLs or screenshots. We will not disclose your identity to anyone associated with the reported account. For copyright cases, please see instructions on how to notify us about infringement claims.
We protect your data
All data is stored on servers that use modern techniques to remove bottlenecks and points of failure.
Whenever your data is in transit between you and us, everything is encrypted, and sent using HTTPS. Within our firewalled private networks, data may be transferred unencrypted from time to time.
Any data in transit between a third-party (eg Cloud Accounting application) is encrypted and Quota will utilize the authentication protocols determined by that provider (eg Two or Multi-Factor Authentication).
Any recorded or stored data is encrypted and protected by Multi-Factor Authentication using cloud environments with limited root access. Our employees cannot view or access your data, or that of your users, by system design.
Full redundancy for all major systems
Our servers operate at full redundancy. Our systems are engineered to stay up even if multiple servers fail.
Sophisticated physical security
Our state-of-the-art servers are protected by biometric locks and round-the-clock interior and exterior surveillance monitoring. Only authorized personnel have access to the data center. 24/7/365 onsite staff provides additional protection against unauthorized entry and security breaches.
Regularly-updated infrastructure
Our software infrastructure is updated regularly with the latest security patches. Our products run on a dedicated network which is locked down with firewalls and carefully monitored. While perfect security is a moving target, we work without infrastructure providers to keep up with the state-of-the-art in web security.
We protect your billing information
All credit card transactions are processed using secure encryption—the same level of encryption used by leading banks. Card information is transmitted, stored, and processed securely on a PCI-Compliant network. Our employees cannot view or access your card or banking information (such as PAD), by system design.
Constant monitoring
We have people assigned to maintaining your account’s security on our systems and monitoring tools we’ve set up to alert us to any nefarious activity against our domains.
We also audit internal data access. If a Quota Inc employee wrongly accesses customer data, they will face penalties ranging from termination to prosecution.
In the unfortunate circumstances someone malicious does successfully mount an attack, we will immediately notify all affected customers.

Sales Taxes
Where our products are taxable, we collect and remit consumption tax to governments at the local, state, and/or federal levels. If your billing address is in one of the following jurisdictions, you’ll see an additional line item on your invoice for sales tax or VAT. The subscription prices on our product websites are all exclusive of sales tax and VAT.
The tax rate and rules are determined by each jurisdiction and sometimes vary by whether you are using our products for business/commercial or personal purposes.

Updating your billing address
If you need to change your billing information because you don’t actually reside in a taxable jurisdiction, you can easily handle that within your account settings. You may need to re-enter your credit card information as part of the billing address update.

Your organization is tax exempt or has a VAT identification number and you were unable to resolve this in the process of setting up your billing.
The monthly billing value does not match your use of the Service.
